His hobbies were history and working around his home. He traveled extensively with our mother, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren within and outside of the United States. Our father passed away on his own terms. At home, in his own bed, on his own time surrounded by his children. He is survived by his four children, Sussann Pottenburgh and her husband Kyle Pottenburgh (Wappingers Falls, NY), Tara Evans and her husband Joseph Evans Jr. (New Hampton, NY), Timothy McGinnis (The Villages, FL) and Todd McGinnis and his wife Phyllis McGinnis (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl), five grandchildren; William Pottenburgh and his wife Mary Pottenburgh, Mary Katherine and her husband Kevin Ludwig, Kathleen Davenport and her husband David Davenport, Megan Ketcham and her husband Jason Ketcham and Sarah Lagan McGinnis; and lastly five great grandchildren; Sean Pottenburgh, Liam Pottenburgh, Ava Pottenburgh, Hunter Davenport and Oliver Ketcham.
