OBITUARY
On the morning of August 6, 2024, our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Joseph Kenneth Arenas, passed away at the age of sixty-two. He was born in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx, in New York City, to Joseph Arenas and Joan Fournier. Spending most of his life there he attended Holy Family and St. Raymond’s School for Boys before moving to Wappingers Falls in 2008. Joe loved collecting coins and caring for animals. He had several different occupations, but being an entrepreneur at heart, he was routinely creating some new small business venture to generate income and keep himself busy. Joe also enjoyed old movies, cooking and giving gifts to his young grandnephew and grandnieces. He is survived by; his mother, Joan Pol; his brother Mark Arenas; two sisters, Elaine Cuozzo and Melanie Colón and twelve nieces and nephews, to whom he is affectionately known as “Uncle Joey”. Condolences can be sent to Joan Fournier at 21G Alpine Drive, Wappingers Falls, New York 12590. A private memorial service will be held on August 24, 2024 at 9:30AM at Grace Bible Church on 158 Myers Corners Road in Wappingers Falls, New York.
