OBITUARY

Clara Feola, a resident of Poughkeepsie, passed away at her home on June 24, 2021. She was 97. Clara is survived by her son, John Feola of Poughkeepsie, and sister Francine DiPolito of Wappingers Falls. She was predeceased by her husband Louis Feola, and two sisters Mary Terwilliger and Jean DiPolito. She worked at Kemp & Beatley of Wappingers Falls belonged to the Italian Center, and Saint Mary's Mother's Guild, and also did some volunteer work at the Mt Alvernia Retreat Center. Clara was an avid shopper. She loved to shop at the Poughkeepsie Galleria on weekends to go shopping with friends. She loved bike riding to garage sales in her younger years. She was known among relatives for her excellent spaghetti sauce, which she loved to make on a weekly basis. Clara loved her sweets too. What she is most known for is her kindness, good nature, and beautiful smile and for being a loving and special mother. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be deeply missed.

Calling hours will be held on Monday June 28 from 2pm to 6pm at Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E Main St, Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday June 29 at 10am at St Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls. Burial will follow at St Mary's Cemetery in Wappingers Falls
