Mom and Dad and I are so sad for you. We all literally grew up together, as young kids. And our parents were best of friends. David was a good man, and he meant a lot to all of us. We wish you all peace and comfort.

We met Dave last year when he came to our house to install our new wood stairs. It turned out that we had common friends from the past. In the very short time I knew him, I can say that he was a great guy. First of all, he did a great job on our stairs, although it took him a little while longer as we had wonderful conversations about life and the friends that we knew. I was thinking of calling him to do some work for us. I don't know what made me look at the obituaries today, but I was shocked to see him in there. I can see him building some great things in heaven. Rest in peace Dave!

I am so sorry to read of David's passing. I was shocked to see his picture among the obituaries. Many years ago in a 10th grade English class at RCK, I was being "observed" by an administrator. A few minutes after the class had started, David and another student walzed in with no excuse for their tardiness, and David blew me kisses as he entered. I didn't stop the class since I had a visitor in the back, so I went on with the lesson. I never forgot that incident, and always had a soft spot for Dave. May he be resting in peace. I am blowing you a kiss now, Dave.
