Sincerest condolences to the Graff family on the loss of Herb. I worked with him many years and will never forget his knowledge and love of flying. Most memorable was his helicopter experience. Best wishes always. Len Houle

I was very sorry to read of Herb's passing. He was my manager at IBM for several years and I never had a better one. He was always energetic and encouraging. It was a pleasure to know him and work for him. Jim Kyle

I have some very fond memories of Herb. He was very encouraging about our move to New Zealand. He was always positive about life. He flew to Wisconsin for our wedding and saw my farm. He was very sociable at the wedding. He was helpful, even from afar. I admired the fact that he could fix anything and was logical. Herb, like me, loved the great outdoors and hunting. I wish that we were able to go hunting together, but we never did. Dionne admired her father and always said he could do anything, and he built her horse stalls for her and helped her. He will be remembered as a great man and Father, and he will sorely be missed. From his loving Son-in-Law, John Urban

Dear Daddy, . I will always love you and I will see you in heaven. You were a good, loving Father to me and helped me my entire life, no matter what happened, you were always there for me. From giving us a loving home, to exposing us to nature and pets and taking us every year upstate to the summer camp and also on to Cape Cod every summer. From introducing me how to think, ride horses, and be able to solve problems for myself. I never saw you get frustrated where it got you so down in my life. You were very intelligent and could tell funny stories. You could say the right things to calm me down when I got emotional. You do not know how proud I was to be your daughter. I admired how intelligent you were and patient. You were a better person that I could ever be. I hope that you are with Jesus in Heaven. I won’t forget the wonderful winter skiing vacations in Vermont or driving us to the ski slopes every weekend growing up. I am so sorry Daddy, that I did not come out there this summer. I won’t forget also how you saved our lives when we were in a deadstick landing over the Catskill Mountains with your calm and intelligent attitude in finding a place to land in the middle of the mountains to land your plane. And when I got married to John and left my house in the town of Milan, you took care of of the house until it sold. . I am so sorry Daddy, for the dreadful day you left us. I will miss you. I will love you forever. Your loving Daughter, Dionne
