Condolence From: Jim Kyle
Condolence: I was very sorry to read of Herb's passing. He was my manager at IBM for several years and I never had a better one. He was always energetic and encouraging. It was a pleasure to know him and work for him.

Condolence: I have some very fond memories of Herb. He was very encouraging about our move to New Zealand. He was always positive about life. He flew to Wisconsin for our wedding and saw my farm. He was very sociable at the wedding. He was helpful, even from afar. I admired the fact that he could fix anything and was logical. Herb, like me, loved the great outdoors and hunting. I wish that we were able to go hunting together, but we never did. Dionne admired her father and always said he could do anything, and he built her horse stalls for her and helped her.
He will be remembered as a great man and Father, and he will sorely be missed.

From his loving Son-in-Law,
John Urban

Condolence: Dear Daddy, . I will always love you and I will see you in heaven. You were a good, loving Father to me and helped me my entire life, no matter what happened, you were always there for me. From giving us a loving home, to exposing us to nature and pets and taking us every year upstate to the summer camp and also on to Cape Cod every summer. From introducing me how to think, ride horses, and be able to solve problems for myself. I never saw you get frustrated where it got you so down in my life. You were very intelligent and could tell funny stories. You could say the right things to calm me down when I got emotional. You do not know how proud I was to be your daughter. I admired how intelligent you were and patient. You were a better person that I could ever be. I hope that you are with Jesus in Heaven.
I won’t forget the wonderful winter skiing vacations in Vermont or driving us to the ski slopes every weekend growing up. I am so sorry Daddy, that I did not come out there this summer. I won’t forget also how you saved our lives when we were in a deadstick landing over the Catskill Mountains with your calm and intelligent attitude in finding a place to land in the middle of the mountains to land your plane. And when I got married to John and left my house in the town of Milan, you took care of of the house until it sold. . I am so sorry Daddy, for the dreadful day you left us. I will miss you. I will love you forever.
Your loving Daughter, Dionne

Condolence From: Don Post
Condolence: My father Frederick Post was a co-worker with Mr Graff back in 70's and early 80's at IBM and regarded Mr Graff as a close friend and someone whom he highly respected. Back in 1978, I was a young 14 year old aspirations of getting my own pilots license one day and Mr Graff offered to take me up at the time. I remember that day as if it were yesterday and it was one of the highlights of life. I will look when I next visit my mother and see if we can find the photo of myself with Mr Graff that day. I did go on to get my license and always thought about him when I was flying. When my father passed suddenly in 1984, Mr Graff was there to comfort my family and I will always remember him fondly and be ever grateful for his actions and kinds words during our difficult time. When my mom called me with the news that she read in the paper today about Mr Graff's passing I was heartbroken to hear the news and even more so due to the fact that with such short notice I would not be able to travel from Massachussets to attend in person. Please accept our deepest sympathy during this time and be comforted in the knowledge that Mr Graff left a lasting legacy with those who were fortunate to know him.

The Post Family (My Mother Nancy, My Sister Nancy, and myself Don)
